Ni70Cr30 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy suitable for temperature applications up to 1250°C. High chromium content (30% in average) provides very good life time, especially in the furnace applications.
Ni70Cr30 is characterized by high resistivity, good oxidation resistance, good ductility after use and excellent weldability. Alloy is not subject to “green rot” and is particularly well suited for reducing and oxidizing atmospheres.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is commonly used as heating elements in laboratory electric furnaces for heating samples or specimens in various heat treatment experiments. Its stable resistance characteristics and excellent high-temperature performance ensure the repeatability and accuracy of experiments.
In laboratory vacuum systems, Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is used as heaters to heat samples or equipment. It provides stable heating effects in high-temperature and low-pressure environments, suitable for various vacuum experiments and processes.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is also commonly used in temperature control devices in laboratories, as temperature sensors or heating elements. It can accurately sense and control temperature to meet the temperature requirements during experiments.
During chemical reaction processes in laboratories, Ni70Cr30 resistance wire can be used as heaters to provide the necessary heating energy for reaction vessels or samples. Its corrosion resistance allows it to work stably in various chemical environments.
Ni70Cr30 resistance wire is also widely used in laboratory thermal analysis instruments such as thermogravimetric analyzers, differential scanning calorimeters, etc., to provide stable temperatures required for sample heating.
